Introducing Google Maps 8-Bit for NES (Updated)

By Ermal Hajrizi

Remember the NES from the good ol’ days? Well, after a few minor delays, Google has finally developed an 8-bit version of its fantastic Google Maps program for the Nintendo game system. The software, which ships in a custom cartridge for the NES, even comes with a built-in dialup internet connector. Google released a video that delves deeper into all of this, but for now, you can check out the trial (just click on “Quest”).

Update: Looks like the fun and games are over, and we’re back to the boring Google Maps again.
